A young man argues with someone we cannot see, reprehending him for his constant and overwhelming presence in his life. The argument is interrupted by a message from his mother, who is about to come up to visit him. In the end, we will discover who he was talking to and the terrible decision they have both made.

Onde pertencemos nós? é um projeto de arte visual de caráter social que explora a solidão na Irlanda rural, uma questão que ressoa profundamente em comunidades moldadas pela migração, emigração e isolamento geográfico. Inspirando-se na tradição dos serviços rurais móveis, como lojas e bibliotecas itinerantes, o artista Ronan Dillon, o fotógrafo Peter Martin e o galerista Noel Feeney passaram uma semana em 2025 a viajar por Sligo numa unidade de investigação móvel. Durante esse tempo, recolheram mais de 250 inquéritos anónimos e reflexões pessoais sobre a solidão. Destas trocas discretas e muitas vezes íntimas surgiu um projeto de arte visual, uma exposição e uma curta-metragem que refletem sobre o pertencimento, o lugar e a conexão humana.

Where do we all belong? is a socially engaged visual art project that explores loneliness in rural Ireland, an issue that resonates deeply in communities shaped by migration, emigration and geographic isolation. Drawing on the tradition of mobile rural services such as travelling shops and libraries, artist Ronan Dillon, photographer Peter Martin and gallery owner Noel Feeney spent a week in 2025 travelling across Sligo in a mobile research unit. During this time, they gathered over 250 anonymous surveys and personal reflections on loneliness. From these quiet, often intimate exchanges emerged a visual art project, an exhibition and a short film that reflect on belonging, place and human connection.

Antón, de 72 anos, vive sozinho quando é diagnosticado com esclerose lateral amiotrófica (ELA). Ele decide não contar à sua filha Ana, que mora no estrangeiro, enquanto se refugia da passagem do tempo transformando as suas memórias em pinturas. Esta história é um olhar íntimo sobre a incerteza, o valor do ato de cuidar e a fragilidade da vida. Também convida ao diálogo e à reflexão sobre os cuidados de pacientes com ELA num momento especialmente importante para eles, com a recente aprovação da Lei Espanhola sobre ELA.

Antón, aged 72, lives alone when he is diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). He decides not to tell his daughter Ana, who lives abroad, while he takes refuge from the passing of time by turning his memories into paintings. This story is an intimate look at uncertainty, the value of caregiving and the fragility of life. It also invites dialogue and reflection on care for ALS patients at a critical time for them, with the recent approval of the Spanish ALS Law.

An artist in the end stages of alcoholism reflects on his childhood and reaches out to an old friend. It is a final call for help. Small Hours asks us all two universal questions: when should we seek help and when should we offer it?

La Estrella is a tender portrait of a tight-knit Mexican-American family dealing with the entrance of fentanyl into their community. Set across two timelines, the story follows José, a gentle, but withdrawn teenager struggling to gain his momentum, and his older brother Diego, a charismatic and ambitious college student struggling with the stress of family expectations.
